The Trip of a Lifetime

Mike and I took a cross country RV trip in 2021. Of course we took Katie Em and Vino. They love to travel. As long as they’re with us, all is right in their world (and ours). It was an amazing trip from start to finish. We visited 42 states (Vino left his mark in all of them) and 19 of our beautiful National Parks. We made so many memories along the way. There is so much to see in the United States. It truly was the trip of a lifetime. I think the dogs were seriously bored when we got home.

As I mentioned in my book, I am afraid of heights. Visiting the Grand Canyon was one of the most memorable places we visited, but it was also a huge source of uneasiness for me. Mike has no problems with heights, so he was the one to pose with the dogs for pictures close to the rim of the canyon. Vino and Katie Em loved looking out onto the vast canyon views. I was just fine with taking the photos.
